Positive Thinking and Cultivating Self Love.

Positive Thinking and Cultivating Self Love.

I’m becoming more interested in positive thinking and everything that goes with it. A friend recently recommended a fabulously positive guided meditation on YouTube and I’ve paraphrased a little of it and copied other large chunks and included them below. It’s given me a little positive vibe and perhaps it can do the same for you! To give credit where credit is due its by the wonderful people at “the Mindful Movement” and it reinforces with explanations and a series of positive affirmations why positive thinking is so important.

“Thoughts become your feelings, they become your beliefs, they become your actions, they become your habits, they become the moments that make up your lifetime.”

Visualise yourself in front of a mirror. Gaze into your reflection. Feel the love build from within. Notice the warm sensation around your heart. Every cell in your body is filling with love. A soft smile is beginning to surface.

What follows are a series of affirmations. These affirmations are the seeds of love, that will grow into beliefs, habits and your future self.

I am enough as I am.
I am worthy of everything I desire in life.
I am beautiful inside and out.
I am gifted and offer my gifts to serve the world in a positive way.
I make decisions daily that are rooted in the love I have for myself.
I am confident in my life choices and how I spend my time.
I am guided by my heart and continue to grow towards my higher self.
I am am confident in my love for myself and can authentically spread love to others in my life.
I love myself unconditionally.
I believe in my ability to make decisions that align with how I want to live my life.

I am always exactly where I need to be, accepting fully the course of my journey.
I respect myself.
I am true to myself and I listen to my bodies signals.
I accept my feelings and let them be what they are, fully experiencing them without judgement.
I love myself.
I allow my love to radiate from my heart.
I love myself enough to let go of negative thoughts such as anger and resentment.
I love myself enough to forgive myself and others who have harmed me.
I love myself enough to eat healthy every day.

I love myself enough to live the life I truly desire.
I am enough.
I am enough.
