There’s a few microclimates in #Ireland – one of note just a few miles from my home where the temperature is regularly recorded at almost 2′ lower than the surrounding countryside. Hence the saying (spake in local parlance) goes:
Cold Corcaghan Cant Grow Kale,
Stranooden cant grow Scallions.
They may head for Lidl so…
